hi, my first car was an 1992 NA t-top. i have good grades too and insurance was about 220 a month full coverage. i imagine for a turbo it would be over 300 for someone 17. so like playboi said, get an NA and drive it around for a few months so you get used to the mid engine feel. then swap in a turbo and dont tell your insurance agent [img]wink.gif[/img]

and as to the mr2 being 50/50 weight distrubution that isnt true. its more like 43/57 if i remember correctly. if you do get one please do not think you will be carving corners at fast speeds because its mid engine. the car is rear heavy and you will likely experience snap oversteer very unexpectedly and wont know what to do. and if you get one please take good care of it and be responsible...too many of these rare cars are dissapearing from the road.
